Abstract:
Six patients (5 m, 1 f) suffering with an ambivalent tendency to share nearness and, on the other hand, to shun proximity, had always felt depressive after having terminated a partnership. This suffering has lasted from six to 16 years without disentaglement of the problem. In treating by uncovering psychotherapy we saw little improvement. By analogy to the concept of masked depression we saw in each concerned person a kind of "masked lone wolf".
