Compartment syndrome of the upper arm

Compartment syndromes of the upper arm are reported rarely in the literature. The diagnosis requires a high index of suspicion. As with compartment syndromes elsewhere, prompt aggressive treatment is crucial in avoiding possible crippling sequelae.
