Summary

Chronic abuse of bisacodyl laxatives can cause rare urinary stones. Avoiding laxative abuse is the best treatment for these uric acid calculi.

  • Management should focus on discontinuing laxative overuse, alongside standard stone treatment like extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy.
