Implications of national health care for dentistry

Despite the impact of dental health on oral health, general health, and emotional health, the dental-health provisions of President Clinton's health care reform proposal are meager. To better serve the Americans who need better dental care, dentistry should establish influence, develop an impassioned constituency, and provide special information to federal policymakers.
