Summary

The growth hormone receptor (GHR) and growth hormone binding protein (GHBP) play key roles in growth hormone (GH) action. Emerging research suggests GHBP acts as an endocrine, autocrine/paracrine, and intracrine factor, expanding our understanding of GH signaling.
