Abstract:
We present two cases in which we used a new flap from the axilla, based on the thoraco-dorsal artery and vein. In the first case, the flap was used to cover an extensive exposure of the dura mater. In the second case, it was transferred to cover a large area of skin loss in the knee in which there was involvement of the joint. Further investigation is necessary to accurately ascertain the possibilities and the limits of this flap.
