Abstract
Background:
Complications following ambulatory surgical phlebectomy are rare, and to our knowledge, traumatic neuromas have never been reported.

Methods:
The ambulatory minisurgical phlebectomy as described by Muller.
Results:
In a 48-year-old woman who developed persisting nodules after phlebectomy, histopathology confirmed the clinical diagnosis of traumatic neuroma.
