Planning an independent nursing practice for continence services

Nurses are assuming greater leadership in the field of continence care. Many of the services necessary to assess and manage incontinence can be provided through an independent nurse practice. With advanced practice NP skills and a desire to be an entrepreneur, this article provides a guideline for conceptualizing and organizing an independent practice for managing urinary incontinence.
