[Psychological aspects of massage. Basic considerations and advanced concepts for physical therapists]

This article outlines the effect of physical treatment on the psyche. The early phase of childhood and its importance for the further development of personality in relation to the special situation of massage-treatment is pointed out. Further a education-concept for professions in physical therapy which contains several aspects of communication and counseling is being described.
