Abstract:
Late complications of the arteriovenous fistulas for hemodialysis occur after the AV fistulas development and functioning. The following complications are frequent: stenoses and late thromboses, hemorrhage, inflammatory complications, aneurysms and undesirable hemodynamic consequences of the fistulas. A good functioning of the fistula requires an early diagnosis of the complication and a prompt surgical intervention at the clinic where these operations are made routinely.
