Abstract:
Alpha Hydroxy Acids are a group of organic acids which have recently become popular in the treatment of several skin conditions. This article explores some of the clinical uses of these products in the treatment of ichthyosis, acne, hyperpigmentation and photo-damage. Specific recommendations are given for the treatment of each condition.
