Abstract:
Intrapartum fetal heart responses to a maternal exercise routine are described in two volunteers. The fetal heart rates were not affected by a brief exercise, which intensity was approximately 60% of the maximum aerobic capacity. These patients reported decreased pain perception during the exercise in labor.
