Pancreatic enzyme response with an elemental diet

    Summary

    Elemental diets support nutritional status but minimally stimulate the pancreas. Switching dogs from a chow diet to an elemental diet reduced pancreatic enzyme response, which returned upon reintroducing the chow diet.
