[2 cases of primary sarcoma of the heart]

Two cases of sarcoma of the heart, one of them being a round cell sarcoma, the other a rhabdomyosarcoma with fibrosarcomatous areas, are discussed. Studies of the histologic type, age and sex distribution, localization, general mode of growth and metastatic growth were made by reference to 225 cases reported in the international literature. Pertinent references are obtainable from the authors upon request. Results are presented in diagrams and tables.
