The role of community mental health workers

This article compares the work and skills of mental health social workers with those of community psychiatric nurses, through a review of the literature in the field. The literature reveals a mixed picture of the work of the two groups, describing subjective experiences of the work of each, often from the point of view of other professionals, particularly doctors.
