Direct posterior composites

Advances in materials science and a greater understanding of handling characteristics have come about with composite resin systems. This has led to more liberal use of these materials with greater confidence. In particular, greater success has been realized in posterior applications. The combined factors of material selection, case selection, and proper clinical techniques are reviewed in light of established findings.
