Pre-admission clinics for corneal graft patients

This paper describes the operation of a corneal graft service for patients in the Sheffield area. The value of pre-admission clinics is discussed, as is the benefit to patients of the continuity provided by the service. The role of the corneal nurse in addressing the problem of low eye donation rates in her area is also examined.
