    Summary

    Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) and cyclophosphamide (CPM) combination therapy significantly improves allogeneic skin graft survival. This suggests BCG may enhance lymphocyte sensitivity to CPM, a cell cycle-dependent agent.

    Background:

    • Allogeneic skin graft rejection remains a significant challenge in transplantation.
    • Cyclophosphamide (CPM) is an immunosuppressive agent with known effects on lymphocyte populations.
    • Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) is an immunotherapy agent with complex immunomodulatory properties.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the combined effect of BCG and CPM on allogeneic skin graft survival.
