Sarcomas originating in the small bowel diverticula

Summary

Malignant tumors originating in small bowel diverticula, such as Meckel's or jejunal diverticula, are exceptionally rare. This report details two unique cases of sarcomas within these diverticula, highlighting their unusual presentation.

Background:

Small bowel sarcomas are infrequent malignancies.
Malignancies arising from Meckel's or jejunal diverticula are exceptionally rare.

Two cases of sarcomas involving neural or muscular fibers were identified.
The tumors originated within the walls of small bowel diverticula.

Findings:

Confirmed sarcomas within Meckel's and jejunal diverticula.
Detailed clinicopathological features of these rare tumors.
