Chlorambucil for platinum-refractory ovarian cancer
1Gynaecology Unit, Royal Marsden Hospital, London, UK.
Abstract:
Chlorambucil is frequently given to patients with platinum refractory ovarian cancer, particularly if they are thought to have end-stage disease. We have examined the case records of 25 patients who have been treated in this way. No patient had an objective or subjective response. Chlorambucil is ineffective in platinum-refractory epithelial ovarian cancer.
