Abstract:
Twenty-five patients with obstructive jaundice were investigated for immune function. Jaundiced patients' lymphocyte transformation (LCT), skin immune function (SIF) were lower than that of non-jaundiced patients, IgA, IgG and chemiluminescence (CL) of white blood cells were higher than that of non-jaundiced patients. LCT, lymphocyte count (LC), E-rosettes forming percentage (ERFP), SIF, IgA, IgG of the jaundiced patients were decreased with in 2 weeks after operation, CL was in a high level as compared to that of pre-operation. The immune function disturbance may be a reason of postoperative complications in jaundiced patients.
