CT-guided neurolytic splanchnic nerve block with alcohol

CT-guided alcohol splanchnic nerve neurolysis effectively relieved upper abdominal cancer pain in 27 patients. Bilateral splanchnic nerve neurolysis provided substantial pain relief with no neurologic complications.
