Ki-1 anaplastic large cell lymphoma: another masquerader of sarcoidosis. A case report

Because of its heterogeneous presentation, Ki-1 lymphoma may be confused with other malignant and non-malignant conditions. We report a 34 year old male who came to us with skin lesions and generalized lymphadenopathy. Because the patient also had bilateral hilar lymphadenopathy, sarcoidosis was the initial diagnosis. The special stains and the morphological findings of fine needle aspiration of the skin lesions and bone marrow led to the diagnosis of Ki-1 anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
