To investigate whether auditory selective attention influences the auditory periphery.
To determine if attentional effects can be observed at the cochlear level.

Evoked otoacoustic emissions (EOAEs) were measured during a dichotic listening task.
Participants selectively attended to auditory stimuli presented to one ear.
