Electrocardiographic artifact corrected with intravenous nitroglycerin

Abstract:
A number of conditions can cause ST segment changes exclusive of myocardial ischemia, and nitroglycerin has been administered in such cases. We report a case of artifactual ST depression that was managed with intravenous nitroglycerin. In this case, the cause of the ECG artifact might have been the apical heartbeat.
