[Depressive disorders in children and adolescents]

The author presents the results of a 5-7-year research in 99 children and 74 adolescents suffering from depressive disorders. It was found that the etiology of depressive disorders, even at the same group of syndrome-associated diagnosis (DSM-III) was various. In this group very often psychogenic disorders, were present, and endogenous affective disorders were rare. An existence of atypical pictures of some depressive disorders (cyclic anxiety disorders and/or cyclic aggressive disorders was shown in the examined patients.
