Abstract:
The new ALCAT test, a procedure utilizing electronic hematology instrumentation and computerized data analysis, is designed for monitoring changes in cell volumes in response to antigen stimulation in vitro. Antibody-dependent allergic autotoxicity in an in vitro process in which white blood cells are damaged has a significant diagnostic value as a screening procedure for identification of hypersensitive individuals and discovering food allergens.
