Summary

Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) cells utilize specific laminin receptors, alpha 6 beta 1 integrin (VLA-6) and a 67-kDa receptor, for adhesion and invasion. Upregulation of these receptors by laminin suggests a role in SCLC metastasis.
