Abstract:
As the number of women with congenital heart disease continues to rise, information regarding reproduction is and will become an important part of their follow-up care. Until now the focus of reproduction has been on pregnancy outcomes. Practitioners must become better informed about issues of fertility, contraception, and childbearing to better advise their patients.
