Resin luting materials: the current status

Compared with composite resin restorative materials, which have evolved considerably since their introduction over two decades ago, the development of resin-based luting materials has been slow. Only with the introduction of restorative techniques such as resin-bonded bridgework, porcelain veneers, and composite resin or ceramic inlays, have resin-based luting materials gained importance.
