Handling punctate keratitis resulting from systemic cytarabine

Summary

High-dose cytarabine chemotherapy can cause severe eye toxicity, including punctate keratitis, in acute myelogenous leukemia patients. Topical corticosteroids may help prevent this adverse effect.
