Abstract:
The authors describe the physiology of wound-healing and the factors influencing wound-healing that may play a role in urethral surgery. They present the specific characteristics of wound-healing in each treatment for urethral strictures. This knowledge can help to choose the right treatment for each type of urethral stricture.
