[End-to-end anastomosis of the urethra]

End-to-end anastomosis is perhaps the most physiological method to cure a stricture of the urethra, provided it is short and the rest of urethra is elastic enough to overbridge the gap without tension. A success rate of more than 90% can be expected in these circumstances.
