Summary

This study shows that a new bicarbonate solution for continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) effectively corrects uremic acidosis without compromising dialysis adequacy or patient safety. The bicarbonate CAPD solution is safe and well-tolerated.

Background:
