Summary

Spirometry testing in individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) is feasible. Despite some challenges with American Thoracic Society (ATS) criteria, reproducible forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and forced vital capacity (FVC) values were observed, supporting longitudinal respiratory studies.
