Summary

This case study highlights a rare progression from pulmonary sarcoidosis to heart failure caused by AL amyloidosis. The amyloidosis was ultimately linked to an underlying multiple myeloma.

  • It highlights a potential, albeit uncommon, pathway from pulmonary sarcoidosis to cardiac AL amyloidosis secondary to multiple myeloma.
