Summary
A rare "MIBG super scan" pattern in metastatic pheochromocytoma shows intense bone uptake. This occurs when bone metastases avidly absorb iodine-131 meta-iodobenzylguanidine (1-131 MIBG), reducing uptake elsewhere.
