Summary

Postprandial hypotension, a drop in blood pressure after eating, can be a stroke risk factor in individuals with severe cerebrovascular disease. This study reports the first documented cases linking these conditions.

Background:

Findings:

  • The patient's TIAs occurred consistently after food ingestion, correlating with hypotensive episodes.
  • Severe occlusive cerebrovascular disease was identified as a critical factor in the patient's presentation.
