Summary

This case study reports malignant hidroacanthoma simplex in a 75-year-old man. Immunohistochemical analysis suggests tumor origin from intraepidermal duct outer cells, correlating with malignant transformation.

Background:

Observation:

  • Initial biopsy in 1987 indicated benign hidroacanthoma simplex.
  • A subsequent biopsy in 1991 revealed malignant transformation.
