[History of surgery in the Czech Republic]

There are not only great personalities and a great credit they take for surgery in our country, but also the life, organisations and work of barber surgeons in the time before Joseph II. We demonstrate their "art" from the treatment of wounds, fractures, luxations, hernias atc. to venesections and amputations. Also shown is how much they could charge for each type of treatment or operations as specified in a 1972 official notice.
