[Cancer of the testis. Review 1987-1991]

Twenty-eight cases of testicular cancer diagnosed from 1987 to 1991 and their corresponding anatomopathological data are presented. According to our series, this tumor type ranks third and accounts for 16% of the male urogenital neoplasms. The clinical records were reviewed in order to obtain the necessary data for tabulation. The treatment, results, complications and prognosis were analyzed and compared with those reported in the literature. Of the testicular cancers, there is a higher incidence of seminoma and it is more frequent between the second and third decades of life.
