Spiritual care. Patients' access to hospital chaplains

At this time of year, the thoughts of many nurses turn to the spiritual and religious needs of their patients, but what about the rest of the time? The author conducted a small survey to identify how well nurses were facilitating access to the hospital chaplain for a group of elderly patients, and uncovered some distressing findings.
