[Eye changes in patients with diabetes mellitus and pulmonary tuberculosis]

Diabetic retinopathy was detected in 52% of 121 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and diabetes mellitus. The duration of diabetes mellitus contributed to the development of retinopathy, whereas tuberculosis did not influence this condition.
