• Untreated intratesticular hematomas can cause testicular atrophy due to internal pressure.
• Surgical intervention for testicular injuries may lead to favorable postoperative results.
• Delayed or missed diagnosis of testicular injury negatively impacts prognosis.

Implications:

• A classification system for testicular injuries is proposed to guide management.
• Early surgical assessment is vital for improving the prognosis of testicular trauma.
