Abstract:
Actigall is an orally administered gallstone solubilizer that reduces biliary cholesterol in the bile acid pool which, in effect, helps to dissolve floating radiolucent cholesterol gallstones. Actigall is an agent used to treat cholesterol gallstones in the patient at higher than average risk for surgical intervention for the removal of gallstones.
