    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the impact of lithium carbonate on the pharmacodynamics of five neuromuscular blocking agents.
    • To evaluate how lithium carbonate influences the onset, intensity, and duration of neuromuscular blockade.

    • Dogs anesthetized with halothane and N2O received intravenous lithium carbonate.
    • Responses to succinylcholine, decamethonium, gallamine, d-tubocurarine, and pancuronium were measured before and after lithium infusion.
