Management of lymphoedema: a community-based approach

The community-based Enfield Lymphoedema Service received over 100 referrals in its first year, which suggests that it is suitably sited in the community. Patients have been offered previously unavailable information and treatment, while health care professionals have gained an improved awareness of and insight into lymphoedema and its treatment.
