[Endogenous peptides as a single system of regulatory substances]

Endogenous peptides of the whole organism, irrespective of the place of their synthesis, mostly play the role of the elements constituting a code for triggering the integrative mechanisms of regulation of the functions of organs' systems or the whole organism. The data is presented on the results of radio-immunological assessment of concentration changes in the regulatory peptides in response to effect of the substances introduced into the vascular bed of animals.
