[Therapeutic approaches to anorexia nervosa in adolescents]

In the submitted paper the author deals first with theoretical approaches to the aetiopathogenesis of anorexia. Only on their basis it is possible to create effective therapeutic strategies. The author discusses the advantages and assets of ambulatory treatment and hospitalization and gives an account of the most frequently used therapeutic combinations and procedures. Optimal is individual psychotherapy combined with parental group therapy or family therapy with--in the framework of a behavioural regime. The author summarizes also pharmacotherapeutic approaches, as compared with other departments.
