A hospital experience

This article is an account of the author's experience and observations on having been incorrectly diagnosed as having a myocardial infarction and having been admitted to a coronary intensive care unit. The article touches on the rigidities of medical thinking, how one can come to believe what is not true, how to be an "exceptional patient," how medical care feels from the other side, and other relevant observations.
